So Morning back in work, got a nice project (well as nice as they get) that I’m looking into at the mo and a meeting later today. In the process of transfering over some files at the mo, not much going on otherwise
Anyone thinking of seeing A.I. all I can advise is DON’T. I went with a group of people last night and we all hated it. It’s way too long, has absolutly no clue what sort of movie it is trying to be and meanders all over the place. Avoid at all costs
So finally back online in work with emails. I got nimda yesterday, (nice one Dave) so access for a while. Back now though and all sorted, did not actually have the virus, just had the .eml file. All clean now and not at war
So it appears that around 2am GMT the US is going to begin to follow through on it’s “act of war” talking. Tomorrow is going to be an interesting day. I had thought about staying up for the conf, but sleep calls.
So yet more lay-offs for my company, although this time tis nice to see that staff have new jobs being handed to them and management are gone. It’s still not good but it’s something.
Five for Fighting 🙂 Only heard the one song “Superman”, but it’s pretty good and I will be looking out for the album when I get paid next week. Ok yes I know the music was featured on Dawson’s Creek but that does not mean it’s automatically a bad song and it’s actually quite a good song 🙂
Another noted song at the mo, Alien Ant Farm’s cover of “Smooth Criminal”. I have to say I really like it, I am a Michael Jackson fan, in fact the first album I ever owned was “Bad” and it still contains some of my favourite songs to date. But anyways, I like the new MJ single and will pick up the album when it does appear.
An interesting article published in the Washington Times last week, worth a read…. Very un-PC and in some cases very wrong, but interesting
