The most memorable phrase from lunch today. “There ain’t no gangbang like an S Club gangbang.!….. I work with strange people
I have a post saved at home from yesterday for when Blogger was down. Major thanks to Ev for getting it back online 🙂
“Have you ever love and lost somebody? Wished there was a chance to say sorry? ”
From some S Club 7 (shudder) song…nice line
So many things that I want to be able to talk about, that I never will. I have to admire some bloggers who seemingly post carefree. A couple of the places that I read regularly post details that while I don’t have a problem posting some of them, I don’t want people I know to necessarily read them if you get what I mean. It’s the more personal stuff, I know one person who dealt with that by keeping a separate log for closer friends, so far I’m just not advertising so to speak, you can even call me paranoid about linking out so I don’t get found in logs. I guess it is a matter of confidence. It’s kinda strange I mean I get my name as a domain name because I did not want to use something that was anon, I wanted to create my site (still working on that…albeit rarely) but at the same time I don’t want to post the details. Saying all that I don’t see why anyone would read this unless they did know me, the sites I read, some of them are people I know (and yes that is only why I read some of them) but some of them are because of interest, I found some through various means, usually linked from Blogger in the recently updated and they looked good enough, or the content was enough to get me to come back. I for sure don’t have content or a good look.
The look I can work on I guess, as is plain to see I don’t have many design skills and PSP just scares me to tell the truth. I can’t do shit with images or logos so spicing up even this page is a challenge. Still I can have a bash right…..?
You may have seen this come around as a joke, but there are some valid points in there…
I was going to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year but I made the mistake of running it past my Lawyer friend. It turns out that this issue is much more complicated than I thought. Who would have thought?! Anyway, here it is:
Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral, celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all . . .
A N D

Actually I did mean to mention two really great ad campaigns I’ve seen recently. The latest ITV Digital ad was classic. It was running in the cinema before LotR and it had two really good laughs in it. I’ve not seen it on the tv yet …not that I watch much tv these days. You can check out the ads on the site aswell.
Also the Smirnoff Ice current billboard campaign is fantastic. Each of their posters has a slogan with a * after it and down in smaller writing is the catch. They are sponsoring free travel on New Year’s Eve and so down the bottom it just goes * “please buy our product” or * “we’ve scratched your back…” 🙂
