Watching Pearl Harbour at the mo, not a particularly good movie, but some amazing affects. Before that was Rush Hour 2 which was quite fun, somewhat the same as the first one, but that worked for me anyway
Month: December 2001
As usual I thought of lots of stuff I wanted to post about but when I get back online, I’m not sure what I want to say or how I want to say it. Bit of a surprise that seems really weird straight outright, but that’s not really the point of it all I guess. Good luck to them at the least.
Picked up alot of new TPB’s, I really have to get something up about them, I’m getting to be quite well read in the area (well a hell of alot more than I was)and may aswell share some of it, also I do want to catalogue what I have so why not a web page…sad I know..
On that note, Brien Michael Bendis is quite simply a must read everything he does is fantastic. I am really getting into Warren Ellis aswell, and on a major Peter David kick..
Some new music today aswell, The Smashing Pumpkins “Greatest Hits”, listening to it now, a band I did not get into until towards their ending, I heard “Adore” a number of times with some friends and kept saying I had to buy it. I eventually did…about 3? years ago.
Strange old days, not really in touch with any of those people any more at all which is not all that bad of a thing in some cases, but in others it’s not the best. still days gone past I guess.
Saw LotR again, it was just as enjoyable the second time round 🙂 Went around to a friends house last night for a video night, kicked back and watched Dogma. Had a good night and it’s a great movie 🙂
Right I’m going home, my work buddy list will be alot emptier in the morning. 🙁
I hate goodbye e-mails
and when everything else fails, they go with an attempted guilt trip
joy, fighting with the family. My mother is trying to justify sending me a christmas ( or a “random december tuesday”) present, which she knows I don’t want. So now having the im conversation telling her to give it to someone else.
Just picked up “Young Lust: The Aerosmith Anthology” at lunch. They really have put out some great music over the last 3 decades. 🙂
Dublin begins closing down today 🙁
Oh I picked up the TPB of “Just a Pilgrim” by Ennis and Ezquerra last night. It was in many ways typical Ennis stuff with his usually humour but with a nice twist and not the ending I was expecting. Recommended reading 🙂
