Moved to my new desk at last 🙂

More details on LOTR to follow, not really sure how to sum it up. To use an overused perhaps phrase I really enjoyed it 🙂

So in just a few hours, I’ll be meeting Iain and then meeting up with Dave (my new boss) in town to see LOTR 🙂

At 9 am monday morning I will be in Leicester Square queueing to see “Lord of the Rings“. My new boss just arrived at my desk and handed me a ticket. I might admit to continuously looking at it to make sure it’s real and still there 😉 Borrowed Iain’s (8letters.co.uk) webcam to take the pic you see before you

I am begining to think level 17 unbeatable. The password is DMA if you care to give it a try

Roll on tomorrow, that’s all I have to say. I have to take some baggage with me, but I am going to do my best to get rid of it as soon as possible. Might have to see about arranging a meeting about it next week.

Was thinking about the old saying “don’t brun your bridges” etc etc but it’s more a case of I don’t have bridges to burn

The internet. The coolest thing on the face of the planet without a doubt. Where else would you get this ad to keep forever

After a somewhat longer lunch that I had planned (bloody trains) I got DK2. It’s Batman as I want to read about him on a monthly basis. (I also have to admit one of the reasons I loved the orignal was to see Batman kick Superman’s ass 100% 🙂 )

I will admit to shock that the total orders for only 200,000. That makes it the biggest selling comic of the last 5 years. That’s a hell of a low number

El Reg:
“I’ve always believed that if the US Government were ever to get really serious about Internet security, the top players in Microsoft’s management hierarchy would find themselves handcuffed, blindfolded, led onto a tarmac within some obscure Air Force base, and shot.

Witness if you will Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express, the two most efficient virus propagation utilities ever devised by human intellectual failure.”

Metro this morning, The largest prime number in the world has been discovered. it is 213,466,9117-1. It was discovered by a volunteer in an internet project called “Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search” (GIMPS). When you can work for SETI or work to cure Cancer or Alzheimers with Intel…but hey go work out a big number only divisble by itself and 1……It took 13,000 computer hours to work this out…
