Ellis is doing an appearence pretty close to me at the start of March. I am SO there. It’s a two hour talk and some signing afterwards 🙂 🙂

Just a few days later Miller and Hitch are signing aswell. Not only that but Grant Morrison, John McCrea, Frank Quitely, Mike Carey, Adam Hughes and Dave “Watchmen” Gibbons are doing a comics fair in Bristol in the first weekend of June.

That’s the entire team behind “The Authority” and then some major players over the space of the next couple of months. 🙂 🙂

I’m off to France for 5 days tomorrow, looking forward to it, but my French is very rusty. It’s been about 5 years since I used it for anything and while I can still remember some of it and string a sentence together it will hopefully only be a day there before I can carry on a full conversation.

What the hell was I going to say? Oh yeah I joined rockstar today, mainly because Iain stood at my desk until I did. It seemd to be ok and had potential for fun, but due to heavy trafffic it’s down.

Congrats to Amazon today for actually posting a profit. It’s nice to see a positive ‘dot com’ announcement.

And in late news the beeb are reporting that AOL Time Warner through it’s Netscape are have filed suit against Microsoft for damages as a result of “unfair promotion of it’s own browers, Internet Explorer” (quote from the been article). Interesting….

I’ve just suffered my first major Win2k crash. It’s taken me about 20 minutes to actually reboot (x3) and get up and running again. What fun

Still Capital on the in background and they are playing a remix of a “Another Chance” by Roger Sanchez (the wonder of MP3’s) think of the name of but anyway it just sounds wrong. It’s one of those songs where is a big build up in background and then the music really kicks in. But this has been about four minutes now of repeated build up and it’s gotten to the point of where it’s uncomfortable to listen to it as I *need* to hear the music go. It’s just ended and it was actually disconcerting typing and listening to it, or even trying not to listen to it.

On music notes, I surprisingly quite like “Hero” by Enrique Iglesias and I’m really getting into the new Alanis Morissette track “Hands Clean”, I have her last two albums but I didn’t think I would be still into her music. I had not listened to them in a long time and had no real inclination to listen to them anytime soon but although this track is pure Alanis, I’m really enjoying it and it might just lead to me buying the next album.

I’ve been listening to Capital FM a bit recently and almost every single ad break there is an ad where it starts off with a young girl or boy talking about something a young kid would talk about, then it’s cut into an obviously older man continuing the sentence and then it cuts back and so on for a few seconds. Then your warned to never give out your details to anyone on the internet because you never know who you are talking to. I don’t know of anything recently that brought this on, unless I am way out of the loop, there has not been any major internet related incident that would spark off such a big campaign. I assume there is some government backing for this, but I can’t imagine it all being privately funded. It’s not a bad campaign actually, it is getting a little too much airplay, but it’s not a bad set of ads.

c|net claims the AOL / Red Hot talks just ain’t happening. ugh and AOL has fallen under the $30 mark closing today at $29.58

So it’s monday, I feel like shit, there is a problem with one of my proejcts that I was ‘lucky’ enough to inherit. Fuck
