Wow I have to admit to being damn impressed with Moveable Type. It just impoted all of my Blogger entries with no problems whatsoever…..Serious thought will now be given to changing over. In fact lets test a template.
Month: January 2002
Version 4.2: conforms to W3C “recommendations and other standards”.
Shit. The template confirms to the standards yes, but because Blogger has been set to format the lines from day one, none of my content does. I can’t change it becauee it would mess up all my archives….fuck fuck fuck
Outlook mail rules, a pain in the ass to set them all up, but when they work it clears up your mail box so much!
In other news, I can’t really decided what the word of the day will be, I’m going with either maturity or secluded. There is usually a reason behind what I go with but not really sure which is the most appropriate if not both. The blogs I read mostly are not being updated often enough, damn you all! I’ve expanded my links on my home pc so I read a few more there, nothing of any major interest, but still.
Spent a while last night cataloguing my TPB collection with a view to creating a page shortly. It took quite a while and I’ve still got at least a quarter to go. Last time I counted it was just over the 200 mark for comics. On the subject of, Newsrama has posted an awesome picture of the cover for it’s Epsiode II TPB collection.
AOL seach goes nowhere near the Shifman stories that are top searches in Google, Lycos and Yahoo among’st others. This is not a good thing 🙁
White supremacists rally; if in doubt use napalm. extreme…me? I can’t think of a single good reason not to round them all up and drop some napalm on them. And look at the picture on that page, it would look so much better to me with a generous helping of naplam 🙂
Some people just get away with blue murder
I’m reading “Lazarus Churchyard: The Final Cut” at the mo. It’s a collection (definitive too) of the early 90’s strip of the same name by Warren Ellis. It is I beleive some of his first work in the comic field, and it’s not bad so far.
Ya know one good night’s sleep would be good.

I’m glad to report that 24 keeps up it’s high standard. The acting is top notch, the plot and writing is quite strong and there is plenty left dangling to keep your attention. 6am till 7am had some really good moments, it was of course a cop-out at the end, someday I wish a show would just go ahead and do it, but it was expected. It’s looking like staying good till the end. With recent news that Dennis Hopper has signed on to play the man behind the scenes, at least we know the acting will stay top notch.

Couple of great comments on the whole Bush pretzel incident (via Metafilter)
–>Maybe he should have rung Clinton for advice on swallowing
–>Clearly, this isn’t the first time his brain has been deprived of oxygen.
I’ve just finished burning the latest episode of 24, 6am – 7am. Looking forward to getting home and watching it tonight. As one of my three hot topics of the mo, (the others being Radiohead and Bendis as readers can tell) look for more on this later.
Oh and it’s worth nothing there is new B5 in 6 days 🙂
