This weekend I am suppose to be going to Bristol to see my other half. Due to various things going on in both our lives it’s been about 3 weeks since we have seen each other. This weekend is her work party. On Saturday night they take all their staff and partners away for the night to a 5 star hotel in Cardiff where there is a dinner-dance thing with a nice bar and a luxury hotel room. Note I said suppose to be going. I’m still not feeling good so I’m not going. Shit 🙁

I know I have said this many many times before, but some things should just not surprise me anymore. We delay a launch and do a lot of extra stuff cause it would be a better member experience. That’s all good. A successful trial is completed. Then what do we go and do? Remove all the nice stuff that is less annoying and launch the entire bloody thing in the most annoying way possible. *sigh* I really do despair at times.

So I’m not going to be in work tomorrow under medical instructions, so on the way home (it’s on my way home ) I went into V-Shop. I was planning on just picking up something to watch, but they had a good dvd offer on, 2 for £22 or 5 for £50. So viewing for tomorrow is “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” and “Almost Famous”. 🙂

Right so this is the first post written on the new toy. The character recognition is pretty damn good. I am very impressed so far and yes that more than likely means more posts you lucky people you!!
I’ve wanted one of these things for a while now and while buying one was never really a realistic option, (they are quite pricey after all) this will be really handy for blogging to a file whenever I am away. Seen as this is going to be my first weekend away in quite a few weeks its pretty good timing. Its sad to note that I have typed all this with my laptop right beside me!!

I’m not sure whether I prefer using the keyboard or the writing method. They both seem to have their good points and their bad points. Lots of time to decide I guess. The dictionary I am really not liking. It`s just tried to give me “new york” for “now”. Hmmm

Oh yes playing on the radio at the mo is George Michael`s new single “Freak”. I had been wondering how long it would take before someone sampled the sound of a modem connection. Anyways its in there a v.90 modem handshaking in a v.90 cinnection. Music to the ears!

err the drugs were of course from a chemist..all you bad people who thought other things should be ashamed…and yes thank you for the e-mail about it Al.

I feel alot worse and I am starting to have some serious work hassles. No-one else can complete this project and we are already behind schedule. Time to see a doctor.
