Top Shelf in Trouble.
Order Strangehaven, it’s a damn fine book. Order From Hell, it’s award-winning Alan Moore and Eddie Campbell.
On the subject of Strangehaven, Artbomb.net‘s review by Warren Ellis sums this series up perfectly
“The hypnotic trick of STRANGEHAVEN – a very English book, but entirely accessible to anyone who reads English – is that there is a main plotline, but after a while you just don’t care… We can’t leave. And don’t particularly want to. We’re locked in and we want to know more…”

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA (4-hour miniseries) – SCI FI re-imagines the groundbreaking and beloved series in which “a rag, tag fugitive fleet” of the last remnants of mankind searches for its true home. Fleeing the aliens responsible for the slaughter of their homeworld, the Battlestar Galactica survivors must meet a whole new set of challenges. This intriguing twist on a classic will be written by writer Ronald D. Moore (Roswell, Mission Impossible II) with Breck Eisner (Steven Spielberg’s Taken; The Invisible Man) attached to direct. Distributed by USA Cable Entertainment, the project will be executive produced by David Eick (American Gothic, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Spy Game).
We like this too 🙂

Transfomers seems to have had orders in the region of 150,000. We like that 🙂

Fuck. I’m missing something small and silly and it’s holding up one of my projects in a major way. Everything should work fine but of course it is not and I don’t know why 🙁

Something strange happened this morning. I woke up one minute before my alarm was supposed to go off. This alone is strange but stranger yet is I actually got out of bed as well. It’s now 8:52 and I should be in work early which is good.

This afternoon I am going to Bristol. There are three things wrong with this statement.
1) I hate going to Bristol. 2.5 hours on a coach is not my idea of fun.
2) I hate Bristol. It’s really notice at all.
3) I hate having to take 2 half days in order to get there and back.
Why am I going? Well, it’s my girlfriends birthday and we have tickets to see Garbage, so I guess I have to be there.

On the subject of birthdays, there are so many going on at the moment. It was a friends birthday on Friday and I only found out on Thursday. I’m really not good with birthdays and other important dates. They never seem to stay with me. I’m a terrible person I know.
