You know I can’t even remember what it was about now, but when I was in Sixth year (that would be when I was 18), I realised that a group of friends were doing or getting involved in something and I wasn’t being involved in it. I don’t remember being pissed just curious very curious. I tried to make some subtle and indeed some not so subtle enquiries to find out. Nothing came of it. So I was sitting in Maths one day, and I think we had a free class so I was talking to one of the guys who was in on whatever it was. And to sum it up I bluffed him 100% and he told me everything I wanted to know, and even if I say so myself I did it well. What really made it worth it was the look on his face when I told him what he had just done, which in retrospect wasn’t the best idea but you know it was worth it. He had the most perfect look of oh “shit what have I just said” that I can ever remember seeing. It was bloody great. Sometimes all you need is a good poker face.

Friday afternoon around 5pm my boss pretty much starts laughing hysterically at his desk, so he gets a strange look, after about moment he sends me this link. For the next five or six minutes I was wiping tears away I was laughing so hard. It’s not all that funny looking back but at the time it was perfect. The entire floor must have been staring at us, I was laughing so hard I had to put my head on my desk to try and stop and it still didn’t work. I guess it was one of those days but much much much respect to B3TA for this.

And finally yes I have made a conscious decision to try and write more, I found looking back that everything was quite disjointed and I decided that I want to actually put more effort into my writing and see if I can keep this up, at the very least I enjoy it and hopefully I can improve.

Also I guess I have to mention the election at home. But tis worth noting I’m way out of the loop and never really followed politics anyway. A lot of people have lost their seats including Dick Spring, Alan Dukes, Nora Owen and Austin Currie. Sinn Féin are up two seats to a total of 3. Fine Gael have been decimated loosing 34 seats. Results in my home are not ideal, first place for the Greens which we like but two seats for FF isn’t great. Anyways more results results here
