It’s broken, I know its broken. Its not just broken on our beta clients its broken full stop.

Thats not the point, as much as I wish it where, the point is in fact who cares. Because the answer to that is no-one, not one single person gives a flying fuck. So why should I?

The weekend

A quiet one here. Nothing going on at all. In fact I haven’t left the flat this weekend…thats kinda not good thinking about it, must not make that a habit. Lots of game playing Spider-Man on the cube and Medal of Honor: Frontline / GTA III on the PS2. Really enjoying Medal of Honor, I’ve done the first 9 missions or so and I’m still enjoying it all. New website is set up and all seems to be good, email is better than before, ditto with ftp and handy tips.

Spent quite a while online just hanging around exploring a couple of new boards. Other than that there was the three loads of washing I did today, brought everything pretty much up to date.

West Wing this evening was its usual high standard, Marlee Matlin (Joey Lucas) (site | imdb) is an amazing actress and damn pretty to boot. I first saw her in Picket Fences in the mid nineties (now that was a fun and quirky show, which won a hell of a lot of awards)…hold the phone, she also won the Oscar for best Actress in 1987 (did I know that already?), anyways she impresses me every single time I see her. Tonight was no exception, I guess its strange to say she had one of the best lines of the show, but she did:
“If you polled a hundred Donna’s and asked them if they think we should go out, you’d get a high positive response. But the poll wouldn’t tell you that it’s because she likes you and she knows it’s beginning to show and she needs to cover herself with misdirection.”

And as well all know, the everything about the West Wing is damn impressive and Dave don’t you know I’m gonna be using the word impervious in future.

I am so looking forward to getting paid and collecting all my comics from the past couple of weeks. There is so much for me to go and catch up on and lots and lots of cool trades. Its going to be a high point of the week for sure 🙂

A Neil Gaiman signing of his new book and reading from his new book in the near future. Shall I get a ticket? I think so yes 🙂

“And I am not a bright person, but I’m not particularly stupid either”

That works for me too.

I don’t really have anything to talk about at the moment. It’s mean a quiet day. Spent some time online and playing Spider-Man on the cube and Medal of Honor on the PS2. Really enjoying Medal of Honor, kinda tough to control but getting the hang of it, its a lot of fun. Website is pretty much all good now, all my email is working again.

CSI was one of the highlights of the day which is not by any means a bad thing, its kinda sad that I look forward to the weekends for CSI on Saturdays and West Wing on Sundays. I usually leave C5 on after CSI for Law and Order which is entertaining but nothing really special.

Time off is happening and soon, get paid on Tuesday, gonna go and book flights and am planning about 8 days in Dublin. Not so much the being in Dublin which will be damn good anyway, but the fact its time off and shouldn’t cost me all that much in the long run.

I had my appraisal on Friday and it was pretty much as expected. One problem area, I don’t tend to deal with the team of fuckwits well…I have a solution for that but ah well, enough about that. Am I too self-critical? I don’t know. I don’t think so but at times yeah I guess I am. Hmm no more real thoughts on that one at the moment.

So more beers after work and even more than I had planned…again.
Many many thoughts but nothing I actually want to write down or feel like writing down. I will probably talk about some stuff over the weekend but not now. My hosting is still being sorted and I hope to have it all ready by Monday.
