Got a meeting in just over an hour to actually sit down and get some information. The more I learn about this project the more it worries me. I have no real clue what I have let myself in for and there are no answers available to the lists of questions that are mounting, not least of all when are we going and when are we coming back. The timelines seen to be completely different depending on who you ask. I don’t like uncertainty at the best of times, but this is something pretty fucking big to be uncertain about. I suspect I’m overreacting to a lot of things (and yes I am aware of that) but it feels hastily thrown together and there is no planning in here.

Its become clear that a number of the questions that I have just plain can’t be answered, but you know movement on dates and location and other stuff like that could be sorted. All that takes is a couple of calls, I just wish we could do that and get something sorted. Maybe all that will do is put my mind at ease, and indeed the mind of the other developer involved. Right now we have provisionally agreed to a project in the US for an extended period and we don’t have a clue what we are doing…in any sense.

And I should check on stuff before getting all riled up about it. It was said purely in jest.
