I love this book, I really do. I’ve just finished Magician and it was a really good read…again. I’m gonna start the next one and work through the entire series over the coming weeks.
I’m still pretty pissed off and somewhat upset with a number of things BUT I am going to enjoy my weekend and not worry about any of it.
The day started pretty well, got some good news from Iain. He went in to have his eyes lasered up this morning so he does not have to wear glasses again and while yes he got a lot of teasing about lasers and eyes its a fucking scary thought and I can’t ever see myself going through something like that voluntarily especially given the fact that your awake and only slightly drugged when they run a laser into your goddamn eye. But anyway the good news is that it all went fine and he can see properly already and I’m somewhat relieved 🙂
I have some plans for the weekend. They are very simple plans but I like the idea a lot. It will be quite similar to last weekend. I’m going to go and collect some comics and I’m going to go to blockbuster and pick a couple of popcorn movies and stay at home and enjoy them. I’m thinking about going to that pizza place nearby that I found a while ago and love and having a nice dinner. I might hit town aswell and have a look in the comic shops for anything of interest.
Scrap all the above. I have just noticed that Signs is out in the cinema and I’ll have to see that at some stage over the weekend.
Lets see some other random stuff:
There is a thread going on over at the WEF about Bond and there is a concept in there which I really like. James Bond, just like 007 is a code name for an agent. Throughout the years there have been many Bonds, when one retires the name is passed along. It would work really well, it would also explain why the name James Bond is so well known and strikes fear into the heart of evil doers or something along those lines….
This site isn’t for the easily offended and will probably make more sense to those in the UK but Think of the Children is rather funny in a wrong kinda way.
