We made a third option. Went to the first party; had a good time. Went to the second party for a couple of drinks to basically say ‘hello’, we then went back to the first party. Its now 4:35am. So much for a quiet night…well I had hoped.
A moment ago I was searching for the origin of the quote I wanted to use as the title of this post. It appears to be attributed to Satchel Paige and is in full:
“Work like you don’t need the money, love like you’ve never been hurt, and dance like no one is watching.”
One of the pages that google came up with contained this quote. It is not attributed to anyone but its…I don’t know what it is, it just is.
The hardest thing in the world is to watch the one you love, love someone else.
Another quick google (if I have never said it before, it is important you note I have A LOT of love for google) fails to show any info on a source for this. Perhaps I shall look again tomorrow when I will be more prepared to examine the results.
And to end off, in rather typical fashion the night I decide I’ll go online for the express purpose of talking to someone, are they online. Nope and not only that, my buddy list shows 5 buddies online, and I’m all of them!
