As much as you can’t always tell tone on the internet, I cannot even begin to convey the tone used by JJ72 lead singer Mark Greaney when he sings the following line from City:

‘They say things will change
But nothing will change’

The words themselves don’t convey as much as his voice. The line screams at you. It demands your acknowledgement and your attention. It is a strong performance and I imagine during a live show, a very powerful moment.

They are playing an extra gig next week as the first London gig is sold out. I am tempted to see them two nights running.
