I am disapointed to say I was less than impressed with Die Another Day. Brosnan continues to be a good Bond and the secenes with M were excellent and the nods to older Bond movies with Q was really nice. The lack of a short movie before the credits was very missed and the way the plots tied together was very disjointed, as indeed was the direction in many places.
Some things really worked. The torture sequence and the blending of the credits was excellent, but I would have liked to actually see some real follow up on this. The hotel in Hong Kong and the sleeper agent in Cuba were really good examples of the smart Bond. M meeting Bond in the tube station was excellent.
Halle Berry remains an actress whom I can take or leave, however Rosamund Pike was damn sexy
