I picked up an airport edition of the new Tom Clancy, Red Rabbit on the way out. Didn’t get around to reading it till the flight back. My sister wanted to read it, so she got it for a few days. Just finished it now. It wasn’t bad at all. There wasn’t all that much of a story to it, certainly less than any of the older Ryan stuff, far more enjoyable than any of the newer Ryan stuff tho. A solid read and I am glad I picked it up. I’ve been disappointed by Clancy’s books before a couple of times, but at the end of the day, there are still worth a read.
Oh yes. I remembered something today. Sunday was the 24th of November. It was an anniversary of sorts. I’ve been working for a company putting out ‘ fine quality products’ for 3 years now. Fuck, things have changed since that first day of training. I certainly didn’t expect to be living in London and doing what I’m doing, when I was trained up on being a tech support rep.
I’m not so much feeling tired as I’m feeling tired and zoned out of it. I’m certainly not completely with it today (no comments from the peanut gallery please). Hopefully another full nights sleep will help on this front, but I am not holding my breath.
Plans for tonight have pretty much been broken down into picking a movie I want to watch and then watching that movie. Got a few on the shortlist, but nothing really standing out. If I have Goldeneye on DVD, I shall watch that but I don’t think that I do.
