I hate christmas…that’s pretty much common knowledge. However there is one song which while yes it is a ‘christmas song’ it is easily the best ‘christmas song’ of all time no question at all. In its own, its a damn fine song. It is of course Kristy and The Pogues’ Fairytale of New York.
Channel 4 are showing a documentary about it at the moment. It rocks
