It’s seven fucking am and I’m up and waiting for the plasterer to arrive to sort the kitchen ceiling out.
Gah, he just arrived. I’m now going to shower and you can bet today, I shall be in work early for a change. At least I have stuff to do … *sigh*
So yes today was going so well that a little grief from a friend just rounded it off nicely.
Buffy season seven episode 16: Storyteller was excellent. Really nice closing on the Andrew/Jonathon/Warren thread line and some damn funny moments. Great riff on Batman villains and some nice views of Andrew’s little story world. Overall filler tho, hopefully the story will get going again properly soon.
I have no idea what to do about this computer. I am so very tempted to try and get a Dell using their credit scheme, but I have no idea how that would work out.
We have a tumble dryer now. It’s not like any tumble dryer I have seen before. I am glad to have the option and we shall see how it goes. With my flatmate away this does give me a chance to get every single thing I own washed and dried.
That has just reminded me, I spent a couple of hours searching my room for the warranty on this pc earlier today. (That should tell you all you need to know about my ‘filing system’). Anyway I couldn’t find it but I have just had the thought that I left lots of paper, etc. laid out all over my bed so I need to clear it all before I can sleep. And I have to be up early in the morning. I’m really looking forward to leaving the country at the weekend.
Must get some blank cds tomorrow and grab some stuff from work.
There are times I hate the interwebnet. Email is still down, AIM should be online all day as I’m still downloading stuff. Connection dropped about an hour after I fell asleep last night so there was nothing waiting for me this morning 🙁
I really need a new computer, but I can’t afford anything. BB rocks but not really with this computer. *sigh* Someday.
Angel was awesome. Faith just came straight back, kicked ass and took names. The one liners were great,”Step away from the glass” being excellent but with Wes having to have the best line with “five by five”. It just sealed the moment. I was a little disapointed that the Beast kicked the shit out of Faith, I was hoping she could do a little better than that. Then having Angelus dispatch the Beast so easily was a little unrewarding too. It does of course set up the Faith – Angelus face off with the question of Cordy to still be addressed. Looking forward to the next episode a lot.

Sleep now. Lots of stuff queued for overnight download. That was awesome. Angel was doing so well this season and then they just took to straight to the next level. Computer is almost back, regular service shall return shortly. My computer and my broadband modem have been fighting all day. It was not I’m afraid love at first sight. I’ve been meaning to uninstall and fdisk my drive before reinstalling Windows for a while know. I know it’s not in a good state and I wanted to sort it out once and for all. Hangover has improved a lot. I’m going to to and read the paper then cook some dinner. Hopefully all transfers will be done by the time I am. I have a rather bad hangover. I have broadband. One of these things makes the other better. Today will be a TV day. Buffy and Angel are already downloaing. One of these things contains Faith, you have no idea how much one of these things makes the other better. Tomorrow I shall post some more thoughts, for now I shall post the following: gah. Mozilla is so far really really fucking good. Went out to get my annual haircut today to find that my local barber has closed down and that the only other place I found could not see me until 6:30 tonight. So no haircut then. So thats the plan for tonight. I have zipped everything I need and backed it up on ftp. I’m quite looking forward to having a fresh machine again for a little while. It will also clear up lots of space to download some lovely music and the like. The general plan is to wait another hour for Angel to finish downloading, watch that and then begin. If you don’t see me back online later, its all gone to hell and I’ll be back as soon as I can.
Sometimes I am really ashamed of the people I call friend. If somone says ‘ please back off, I feel uncomfortable’ then you back the fuck off, no arguement.
I am really disapointed that someone was not there tonight, really really disapointed.
