One Twenty Two

Northanger Abbey at OT. Strong and lovely cast, funny first half but the second half kind of derails. Feels like knowledge of the book is almost required. Made the evening a bit of a meh all around.

Otherwise a day ending in Y.

I need to shake something off but I don’t know how and I just don’t now how. It’s going to crash down, I can see it – I need to stop it.

One Twenty One

The same argument about family issues – again. It is frustrating.

Otherwise a quiet one, finished Reacher, good fun – better than I expected.  Quiet day otherwise, and a week ahead. Stress and dread, dread and stress.

Imposter Syndrome.

One Twenty

Camera, I’d love a camera again. I don’t know that I would use it but man, sometimes I really would like one. Just need to win the lottery.

Quiet day. Some progress on flat stuff, fire details. Need to look into them tomorrow.

A couple of movies, Asteroid City & The Creator and more Stranger Things. Another quietish one tomorrow.

One Eight

Cowbois makes 100.

Really fun, slight issues, the second half could do with a judicious cut but funny and brilliantly presented and warm and lovely.

Obsessed with The District Sleeps Alone Tonight by The Postal Service. Must have played it two dozen times so far today. Two dozen plus two….

One Seven

 Another day.

A quiet Wednesday. Some work, am nervous about a new piece. Tomorrow might be d-day.

Couple of not so great movies, Fast Charlie just pretty poor and Door from Third Window wasn’t quite all it was cracked up to be.

Enjoyed the first episode of Reacher S01.

I am looking forward to tomorrow night, 100 for Code-name George George.

I need… something good to come and change. Wednesdays are always a faff, it is the night when the thoughts can’t get distracted so easily.

Inordinately pleased to have food in teh house after not getting a delivery for a few days. Rock and fucking roll.

One Six

Feeling a little more settled, which is nice.

A Murder At The End Of The World really takes a nose dive, only finishing it as it is limited series. I should have dropped it though.

Tomorrow, another nice quiet day, no reason to go out. Which is nice in the cold.

Codename GG just coming to the final bookings which is exciting, Feb is going to be BUSY but that is okay.

Getting some nice stuff through ET I think which would be quite nice. A balance to find.

Finances hopefully starting to look okay. Managed the last month well, if I can do the same again for this month, that would be really helpful. Stop haemorrhaging and get back on track.

One Five

A long day. Early into central for a blood donation (my 10th) and then into the office. Not the best use of my day but all is well.

Off to meet John at YV for The Homecoming which felt off, not enough in the production to justify bringing it back. A shame as I really like Jared Harris but man does he appear like his father at times.

Otherwise, two beers in my semi Dry January. Not really sure what I am going to do going forward, very low amount and strictly social I think might be the option.

I am clearly out of practice typing, I use to be a lot better at this but now… yikes.

One Four

Randall Goosby at Southbank was okay, not as blown away as his recital but I think the nature of this evening was going to be different. Booked for the next two anyways, one cheap, one pricy-ish.

Otherwise a Sunday. Into the office tomorrow for the full day.

Finished Monarch Legacy of Monsters which was ok, I’ll watch more.

Just started A Murder At The End Of The World which has a fantastic use of Annie Lennox’s No More I Love Yous, First episode I think has me quite hooked.

Early night, early rise.

One Three

Quiet day, three movies. Battleship Potemkin into They Who Dare and then Opening Night.

your whales must be seen before they can be killed

Moby Dick – Herman Melville
