rythem is a dancer, it’s a source of passion

I’m really struggling to write anything lately. I’ve sat down to type here at least three times and never been able to get more than a few sentences down. It’s been a shitty couple of weeks and while this week is going pretty much the same way, I really just can’t say anything bad about it. It started real well and well it did provide a change of presepctive.

Eventful couple of weeks coming up. This coming weekend is my birthday party. So far it looks like most of the people who I’d really like to be there can’t actually make it. Yay for timing. Then a quiet week until the comic festival DU and a week of gigs. My flatmate has also just scored some tickets to a preview of The Incredibles so a nice half day to head off to that.

There had been some talk of a party at the Hilton in order to move up the hill and watch fireworks for Guy Fawkes. Not really sure on this, I may take some time to go to Dublin as my sister is back for a few days. Not sure, gotta see how that all works out. I have to sort out the holidays for the rest of this year soonish. Then I can worry about next year.

Playing City of Heroes a good bit lately. Gotten back on my main a few times and doing well on the badge hunting. Got my 50th last night and have two of the monster and lots of the leaders badges. Have to get some more over the next weeks and days. I really do want to see if I can ramp up to 50 by the end of the year so that I can open up the first Epic Archetype. Enjoying playing my Defender a whole hell of a lot. Reached 14 with him last night and I took teleport. I hate it. It’s clunky and I need to scroll right back out and adjust my viewing just to be able to see where I want to TP to. I’m quite pissed off by this, I really don’t want to have gimped him by such a bad choice. Got my next power planned and indeed my next 3 really and once I have Stamina, I think Hasten and then Super Speed will be in order. Fun to play and I’ve found myself wishing my Scrapper main had some buff powers. Anyway enough of that.

Finished and enjoyed Dylan’s Chronicles. It is as perhaps expected very lyrical. In the latter half he does talk about the music a good bit. Looking forward to the next one a lot. Probably more on this one later.
