A quiet one here. Nothing going on at all. In fact I haven’t left the flat this weekend…thats kinda not good thinking about it, must not make that a habit. Lots of game playing Spider-Man on the cube and Medal of Honor: Frontline / GTA III on the PS2. Really enjoying Medal of Honor, I’ve done the first 9 missions or so and I’m still enjoying it all. New website is set up and all seems to be good, email is better than before, ditto with ftp and handy tips.
Spent quite a while online just hanging around exploring a couple of new boards. Other than that there was the three loads of washing I did today, brought everything pretty much up to date.
West Wing this evening was its usual high standard, Marlee Matlin (Joey Lucas) (site | imdb) is an amazing actress and damn pretty to boot. I first saw her in Picket Fences in the mid nineties (now that was a fun and quirky show, which won a hell of a lot of awards)…hold the phone, she also won the Oscar for best Actress in 1987 (did I know that already?), anyways she impresses me every single time I see her. Tonight was no exception, I guess its strange to say she had one of the best lines of the show, but she did:
“If you polled a hundred Donna’s and asked them if they think we should go out, you’d get a high positive response. But the poll wouldn’t tell you that it’s because she likes you and she knows it’s beginning to show and she needs to cover herself with misdirection.”
And as well all know, the everything about the West Wing is damn impressive and Dave don’t you know I’m gonna be using the word impervious in future.
