I am an idiot in so very many ways. Life was always suppose to get easier as you grew up…well I guess that shows you how naieve I was back then. Its just a load of bollocks really.
What stuff does get better comes with so very many problems of its own. At the end of the day is it really worth it all?

The interwebnet is scaring me. I’m searching for and I quote “adult orientated newsgroups” to test out a piece of functionality. alt.naked.barbies is a little scary…
So I figured I wasn’t really in the mood for Pulp Fiction. I ended up watching Ring 2. I quite enjoyed it, just as much as the first movie. It’s a good movie and as sequels goes one of the best.
I am now watching Pulp Fiction, it can go in the background while I read on and off or surf the web without having to stare at the screen and read the subtitles. It is a damn good movie and I haven’t seen it in a while. It’s also got some really great lines.
I am very glad to say I am feeling a lot better. I went for a short walk earlier in the afternoon and the freshair was nice. I’m gonna go and watch a movie I think now. It is a toss up between Ring 2, Audition, Amelie or Pulp Fiction. I’m not sure I want to have to concentrate on subtitles so the latter has a big advantage already. I just don’t know. I’ll just pick something and watch it I guess or maybe read for a while.

I’ve just spent the past couple of hours watching Pleasantville. I went to rent this a couple of weeks ago but Blockbuster had lost their only copy. It was on sale in Virgin as part of the 2 for 20 so I figured I would take the chance and pick it up. I am very glad that I did. Hugely enjoyable with an excellent ensemble cast. Tobey Maguire is easily one of the finest actors of his generation and is going to go a long way in the years to come. William H. Macy is one of my favourite actors and Maguire stood toe to toe and indeed may have out done him. This was J.T. Walsh’s second last movie before his death and it is also one of his best.
Considering how the movie deals with colour being introduced into a black and white environment and the fact that at the time it was made it had the most digital effects for a movie, its done so very well. The people and the items blend together very smoothly and it was near impossible to tell on most occasions. Nice little story too, it comes a little close to turning a sweet little film into a full on racism analogy but pulls away just in time. More than worth a look.
Yes I meant to update about this a while ago but I wasn’t sure what to do then and I’m not sure now. Both of the courses which I wanted to do and applied for are full I applied way too late in the year. So I’m kinda lost. I can start a foundation degree in pretty much anything I want starting in January but I don’t think I really want to do that. It would mean four years study there and then another 2 years to up it to a proper degree. Or I can wait a year and apply for the courses I want in time and hope I get one of them.
I just don’t know.
