I’ve spent the past ten minutes trying to write a post to a bb that I frequent and while I know what I want to say, I have no idea how to communicate that idea. I think I’m just gonna give up.

“Blade” and “The Matrix” were both really cool tonight as expected. All in all it was a good evening. Last night we stayed in and rented “The Fast and the Furious” which neither of us had seen and were both pleasantly surprised that it was a lot of fun and much better than expected.

I had written and very briefly posted along tirade about my work situation last night twice. I pulled both posts very quickly as they really weren’t a good idea. But it was good to get them out of my system. The essence of both boiled down to no matter how many things change, some things never change and I was fed up of that. They just changed. It certainly seems that the people involved can certainly make a difference this time.

Guess I’m gonna kill the line of thought that was going “leave, leave, leave now!”

On other notes, a somewhat strange waking dream this morning, but no more weird dreams recently. I solved one of my problems in work this morning so that’s good, it’s a pretty big step in a project, one more to sort and then its all in the design.

To end off a really shit week, my shower which usually goes on at full hot water and is normally perfect at that burnt me this morning. I don’t think it’s ever gotten that hot before. Tonight is a birthday party for one of the guys in work so it’s likely to be late night but I do have someone to pop out and collect later on so that’s pretty cool. Not sure what else is gonna be going on this weekend, but Sunday being mothers day is the special double bill of “Blade” and “The Matrix” in town which I am really looking forward to. I suspect Saturday will be a night in a video or something.

Listening to Daft Punk‘s “Discovery” at the moment. Top dance album, personal favourite track is “Digital Love”.

The new design as mentioned earlier will arrive at some stage.

I did find it strange not getting any e-mail at all in 3 hours. Couldn’t possibly be releated to the dialogue box I had missed….

On the whole other end of the spectrum, While Buffy has been wandering a lot this season, Angel has gotten really back on form. With the plot moving along at various speeds in every episode and character development alongside that, Buffy could really take lessons from it’s sister-show. Without “Once More With Feeling” Buffy would have been completely forgettable this season. On a somewhat related note, Joss has cast the stunningly pretty Rebecca Gayheart in “Firefly“, his new sci-fi show due to premiere in the US later this year.

JMS has confirmed that his imprint Joe’s Comics over at Top Cow will be closing after the ends of its current two running comics (“Midnight Nation” and “Rising Stars”) and the signs are pointing to some sort of exclusive deal with Marvel, which might even see us getting weekly or biweekly “Amazing Spiderman” which would not be a bad thing..

My head hurts, I’m being dragged back into projects that I handed off months ago and I hate one with a passion. Work sucks. I thought I’d gotten over and out of all this crap. But no, you actually go and learn something and show some initiative and make some cool stuff and it’s used against you for the rest of your life. Fuck it all to hell.

Have a new design for this that I’m just ironing out some bugs on, hope to get it online tonight, and yes it probably will still look shit and not work in anything other than ie, but that’s not really important at the moment.
