IM logs

I log all my IM’s. Whatever you use to im me with, I have a log of the conversation. Does this bother you?

I started becuase it was handy to be able to log all of my work conversations for reference at the least, but CYA is always a good thing too. The im clients I use are the same for my work stuff and my personal stuff so logging is on by default on everything. This seems to surprise people and might even annoy. I don’t think I’m alone in logging, if you use IRC, then you can be sure someone is logging the conversation. Anyway not really sure what else I want to say with this, but there ya go.

Ya know, sometimes I just don’t know. Life is such a rollarcoaster, except you have no fucking idea where it is going to go next.

Fuck fuck fuck, booze is sometimes just such a bad idea and at other times it’s just such a wonderful idea. The drugs are looking real good right now.

Helping our colleagues in other countries is an important thing. Sending a reply was the right thing to do. Saying that, I know I’m gonna regret clicking send.

Yahoo Groups is back online and new mail is coming through but no sign of queues mail as of yet.

Ya know that’s actually really really cool. I’m looking forward to catching up on everything that’s happened over the past 18 months or so. 🙂 🙂

A couple of days ago I got the e-mail address from a friend of a friend that I had lost touch with after I moved to London. I was chatting to her on im and she mentioned he had sent her an e-mail so I asked for his addy and sent off a mail. I just got a reply back 🙂 I’m really pleased about that !

Getting to work this morning was fun. I am still moving ahead with the whole getting into work by 9:30 and I was’nt doing too badly today. I was on track for getting in just around 10ish but none of the buses I need to get to the tube station were running. There was roadworks or something blocking the route so they were terminating at the bus stop I get. *sigh*. Tomorrow hopefully will be better.

My Amazon packages, Sin City was not bad. Like most series I wanted to read the first book first, but in this case it does not appear that is needed. Each books seems to be a seperate story with only the setting being the same. I did enjoy it, but I won’t be in a massive hurry to go out and buy the rest but someday.

Hellboy: Seed of Destruction, again another first book in the series. I had read one of the others and it was ok. Again this is not something that left me eager to go and out and get more but I might at some stage.
