From AOL news
“A scene with Britney in her underwear has reportedly been re-shot with her wearing a school uniform instead.”

have you ever just wanted to be able to say “I belong”? Just to feel like you are a part of a group? It would be nice

First to start with a confession. I have not read any of “Lord of the Rings”. When I was young (7 8 ish) I was given a copy of “The Hobbit” and well I hated it. It completely put me off reading anything else by Tolkien.

Today I saw an early preview of “The Fellowship of the Ring”. I arrived with some friends from work at 9 am as instructed for a 10 am showing. We kinda made our own queue and were among the first into the cinema through some heavy security. As a result we had really wonderful seats and settled in to wait till the movie began. The narration at the start is really top-notch,it tells the viewers exactly what they need to know and it drives the story along. Aside from that the battle it shows is truly epic, the effects used here were spot on and really help to emphasise the scale of the events being viewed. Also it is worth pointing out that some of the best effects were not cgi, the orcs had really great masks and they looked like some scary mother….

Speaking of spot-on, the casting. Every single actor seemed to shine in their roles particular standouts were as Orlando Bloom as Legolas, Viggo Mortensen as Aragon, the always reliable Christopher Lee as Saruman and a really fine showing from Hugo Weaving as Elrond.

I would have to go with Legolas as my favourite character in the end, with a strong showing from Aragon, but the bow action from Legolas at one stage just amazed me. I would not be surprised to see some Oscar nods to the cast in the acting department. My only real disappointment was that it ended and left me wanting to see more, perhaps more than any other movie I have seen in a long time. The music didn’t really make an impact on me, I had thought it would.

Other than that, my lunch hour tomorrow will include a trip to a book shop to pick up the books. I don’t want to wait a year and 8 days to see “The Two Towers” 🙁

Moved to my new desk at last 🙂

More details on LOTR to follow, not really sure how to sum it up. To use an overused perhaps phrase I really enjoyed it 🙂

So in just a few hours, I’ll be meeting Iain and then meeting up with Dave (my new boss) in town to see LOTR 🙂

At 9 am monday morning I will be in Leicester Square queueing to see “Lord of the Rings“. My new boss just arrived at my desk and handed me a ticket. I might admit to continuously looking at it to make sure it’s real and still there 😉 Borrowed Iain’s (8letters.co.uk) webcam to take the pic you see before you

I am begining to think level 17 unbeatable. The password is DMA if you care to give it a try

Roll on tomorrow, that’s all I have to say. I have to take some baggage with me, but I am going to do my best to get rid of it as soon as possible. Might have to see about arranging a meeting about it next week.

Was thinking about the old saying “don’t brun your bridges” etc etc but it’s more a case of I don’t have bridges to burn
