BMB on Daredevil 32
“It’s toward the end of the storyline that me and Alex Maleev are working on right now, and I promise you that you will see something you have never seen in a Marvel comic,” Bendis says.

“Just like ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #13, you’re not going to see any solicitation information. We’re just going to let it happen, and just trust me. It took me two months of my life to convince (Marvel editor-in-chief) Joe Quesada to approve this. It’s that weird for a Marvel Comic.

“But I’m very happy to have this happen and it’s irreversible.”

One has to wonder how the world will change if Israel suceeds in killing Arafat in it’s on war on terror.

On other fronts in a nice break from the mundane, a large yellow truck just pulled up outside the record company next to us and 2 young lads and a hefty sound system started pumping out some tunes. Twas a nice diversion going down for a quick look, but enough is quite enough

Sig line on a newsgroup I visit.

Remember: It isn’t an office. It’s Hell with fluorescent lighting.

Got into work today….as work rang my mobile. Bit of an incident, luckily enough members were not affected …

ah well, good start to the day..

I fucking hate spam and it’s just getting worse by the day, 75 new mails and they are ALL spam. Even my work details and addresses I only use for e-mail are being spammed 🙁

some comic stuff then I guess. I read the first volume of “The Invisibles” over the weekend, I have to admit to not likeing it. The basic idea I did like and the story lines were not bad, but it was bogged down in whatever it is you would like to call all of the other stuff. “Plantary” by Ellis, again read the first, book I did think it was kinda of a let down, not a bad book but by no means up to the standard of “The Authority”. I guess I will read the rest, but not gonna rush it. The third “100 Bullets” collection, I’m not quite sure why I keep getting these, I’m not overly enjoying them, but they are ok I guess.
Finished off the highly enjoyable “Daredevil Visionaries” Vols 1-3 by Frank Miller, been using manwithoutfear.com for info and highly recommed it as a source for all your DD needs. Fire by Bendis was quite good, but then again so is everything he has written that I have read. Hopefully a vol IV will come along, but no word on that anywhere.

DK2 arrives on Thursday, suspect I will be waiting outside 🙂

Scaryily enough Wil Wheaton, AKA Wesley Crusher runs his own website, including a blog, it’s not bad actually and he is obviously nothing like his character….the sweet uncle willy thing is kinda sad tho 😉

But from there tonight on “Star Trek X: Nemisis”

“I read the script for Star Trek X last night.

Holy shit.

Holy, Holy, Holy shit.

It’s easily, far and away, the best Trek movie since maybe “Wrath of Khan”? Certainly the best TNG movie. I am so excited to be in this movie, I can’t even begin to describe it. Matter of fact, I’m so excited that I’ve decided to go ahead and write another installment in the SpongBob Vega$ Pants saga! That should be up later tonight, or tomorrow.

I talked to Brent Spiner yesterday, and he told me how excited they are that I’m going to be working with them. I’m gong to call Rick Berman today, and tell him “Thank you” and let him know how excited I am…I’m really, really nervous about that phone call…so hold a good thought for me.

I am having my final costume fitting tonight, and I work Wednesday and Thursday. I will take all the pictures I can get away with, and I’ll post them when I get the OK from Paramount.”
