Strange strange mood. I shouldn’t be, it’s been a good evening.<\/p>\n
I’ve just gotten home from dinner with a couple of old friends (incl. 1 crush) from Dublin. It was a really nice meal and a really good chat.<\/p>\n
Strange at times. Sorta like I was being setup for something and for a second I thought there was a thread going on.<\/p>\n
I don’t know. Nothing happened, it was really nice to see them again and another short sharp reminder of what could have been. That reads wrong, nothing could ever have been but it’s a reminder of how things were.<\/p>\n
Perhaps that’s a good thing. It’s a sharp reminder of how things are now too and I’m unsure on that one really. It was just one of those evenings.<\/p>\n
It’s amazing the effect people can have on you.<\/p>\n

I’m reading a book that Jamie lent me at the moment. One Fine Day in the Middle of the Night<\/i> by Christopher Brookmyre. I’m enjoying it a lot, it’s as good as he promised. The whole reunion thing rings so many bells that it’s almost not funny.<\/p>\n
I have my headphones on at home for the first time in a long time. I had this urge to listen to some important music when I got home and to listen to it loud. It had to be some Radiohead. I was going for OK Computer<\/i> but typically I could only find the case, so it’s the live album interspersed with the beauty that is Idioteque<\/i> live. A couple of times from the glorious Olympia shows I was at a couple of years ago. It’s a massive song. It just builds so much and takes me right with it. Love that drumbeat. <\/p>\n
Just booked a ticket to a tiny Frames gig in London in late November which should be cool.<\/p>\n
