I have tickets to Velvet Revolver in Hammersmith Apollo come this January. I got a call from Andy in work this morning shortly after 9. As I was meant to be out of the office on a training course this was a worrying development. However turns out he was notified of a presale starting this morning and he bagged some tickets, would I like one.<\/p>\n
It was a good start to the day.<\/p>\n
The course was cancelled due to illness shortly after 9.30…just when it was due to start. Not too impressed at having to turn around and come into the office. Still we were down Canary Wharf so had a wander around, went into Tootsies for some breakfast and got into work around 11.30. All rescheduled for Monday\/Tuesday now. Annoying to have to come into work but I guess it’s not so bad and the morning was pretty wasted anyway.<\/p>\n
Last night was a bit of a session. A pint and some dinner turned into Tequila and Black Sambuca by around 9pm. Not such a good idea, it got rowdy but it was a fun evening and this morning wasn’t so badly hungover at all. I was going to go to the pub tonight but now I’m thinking home to a quiet one with more CoH and Murder One.<\/p>\n
Speaking of CoH, I don’t seem to have mentioned that I’m a debt free, almost level 29 respeced character. I got it with a team the other night. Surprised as hell we managed it, there were several muppets on the team but we did and so I have my accolade and all my slots back. Looking forward to 30. I’ll ding it over the weekend I guess. Aura here I come!<\/p>\n
I’ve been watching Lost via the magic blue cable and it’s excellent, one of the better starts to a series in a good while. Really looking forward to the next episode later tonight. Smallville had a speedster guest star last night so I’ll probably try and catchup on that over the next few days. The first episode was ok, not as bad as I was expecting but Lois just doesn’t fit.<\/p>\n
New Robot Fist later tonight. Articles came to me late and I’ve been running around all day trying to move meetings forward to this week and various other pieces of paperwork so nothing so far.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
