The first wave of assault comes in the form of our two regular Pop
\nPugilists, Lawrence Rider and Amy Mather, who both tackle TV head-on –
\nLawrence launches a witch-hunt against televangelists while Amy fights
\non behalf of Coronation Street, done wrong at the hands of EastEnders.<\/p>\n
Under cover of darkness, five more of Robot Fist’s reviewers sneak
\ninto the cinema. James Lyon rages against the machine with the new
\nMetallica documentary; Matthew Craig marvels at the fighting style of
\nHero; Seth Goolnik steps into Dead Man’s Shoes; Frances Ambler deals
\nwith the fierce volleys of Wimbledon; and the curiously-named
\nHorselover Fat teams up with that violent messiah, the Punisher.<\/p>\n
One-Man Music Review Army Rich Hurley locks and loads on five targets
\nthis issue: Bad News, Brother Danielson, Clinic, The Paper Chase and
\nRed Krayon. He’s ably assisted by his support squad of Alistair
\nKennedy, who takes on R.E.M.; Isla Leaver-Yap, who digs a grave for
\nElliot Smith; and Carrie Graham, who gets punchy with
\nBrian Wilson’s legendary lost album Smile.<\/p>\n
Matthew Craig gives ’em Hell with a comics double-header of
\nrecently-filmed Hellboy and about-to-be-filmed Hellblazer – which
\ncomes out on top?<\/p>\n
Finally, Alistair Kennedy makes a kamikaze run on the aptly-named new
\nTerry Pratchett novel, Going Postal.<\/p>\n
