On Monday I got a text from my dad. He’s off on the family holiday in France with my sister and my mom. He hadn’t been able to get a hold of my other sister in Japan and had been reading about the typhoon. So I gave her a ring and as it turns out she’s fine. She was told to stay home from school because it was too windy to ride her bike but that was about it. Chatted for a bit and I texted my dad back to let them know all was well.<\/p>\n
Around lunchtime today I got an email…<\/p>\n
“Volcano was near me…but we’re not affected. txt mam and let her know pls.”<\/p>\n
