How could today have gotten better I hear you ask…well let me tell you!<\/p>\n
Lunch today was really good. The team headed out to the local pub where a pint and a sausage sandwich with chip was a fiver. This was good food and good value and we chatted away for an hour. The girls behind the bar (one of them is really cute…) made us fill in cards with our mobile numbers on them and told us to be there at 9pm.<\/p>\n
We had planned some beers, but had not decided where so off we went back there. Played some pool, some fruit machine and were having a good time. Around comes 9pm and the idea of the mobile numbers was that one would be drawn at random and the mobile they rang got \u00a325 on a tab for the night.<\/p>\n
So they pick a card and ring it, no answer. Try the next card, no answer. We are sitting close to the bar and the third number I hear being called out to the fella on the phone 079 517…followed by me going “that’s my number” and lo and behold my phone rings. So the next few rounds are on me as we work through some double JD’s and have a good time in general. It paid for two rounds of doubles, this is a damn good thing.<\/p>\n
It was a good end to an overall good day.<\/p>\n
Tomorrow night a few of us are going to see Underworld<\/i> and I’m looking forward to it a lot. Couple of beers beforehand and then a fun movie. It should be good. Tomorrow morning I get to sleep through \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
I really want to get Endless Nights<\/i> tomorrow but I don’t want to walk in and get all the other shite in my order. I don’t want to buy it elsewhere but I might just do so and pass on one to a friend. (god I’m really shit at things like that).<\/p>\n
Thank fuck for the weekend. I’m so glad to not have to get up tomorrow, it’s going to be nice to just fuck around and not have to worry about stuff. I have three new episodes of West Wing<\/i> from Hugh and I’m thinking that Sunday afternoon will have some viewing there.<\/p>\n
Post editing is a good thing, it lets you go back and take the venom down a level \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
