There are days, usually when I’m on my own in the flat that I decide to not go out. Nothing really particular calls for it, I just decided I’m not gonna leave the flat for the day. Today was one of those days…until I ran out of washing powder. Very domestic I know, but usually when my flatmate is away for a few days I take the chance to pretty much wash everything I own. Its quite handy to just be able to do load after load of washing and throw it around the place to dry. <\/p>\n
Unfortunately I was too late and both my local shops had closed for the night. Ah well I shall get some in the morning. When I came back, I found I did actually have some hidden away and have another load it.<\/p>\n
It is surprisingly nice outside, aside from the fact there is no-one around. It’s not cold, its close to even being warm(ish) and I had a quick walk around the block which was nice. If there were buses running I think I would head into town and take some photos as there is no-one around. Saying that I am not even sure there are no buses.<\/p>\n
Just finished watching John Woo’s The Killer<\/i> which was ok, entertaining enough and very obviously the forerunner to Face\/Off<\/i>. Next up is 24 Hour Party People<\/a><\/i>. There is sweet fuck all on TV tonight so a night of DVDs I suspect. I have recently wanted to re-watch The Thin Red Line<\/i> and Tigerland<\/i> so a war double bill may be on later. Thing is they are both very much films I have to be in the right mood for.<\/p>\n Gonna go and catch and early showing of Bowling for Columbine<\/a><\/i> tomorrow morning. It’s on in one of the local UGCs just before noon. Then I have to return the DVDs before 6 and do a little bit of shopping at some stage too.<\/p>\n If you cannot find Osama, bomb Iraq.
