I’ve been bad. I just went shopping. I wanted to pick up the 2 cd releases of JJ72’s Formulae<\/i> and I did. U2 of course have a new single out today, so again 2 cds and a dvd single. Seen as I was at it I’ve been meaning to pick up Forty Licks<\/i>, the best of The Rolling Stones and so I did. Alongside that seen as I have heard so many good things about the second season of The Office<\/i>, I picked up the first season on dvd. Then I noticed that Tower had Citizen Kane<\/i> on sale for a tenner. Well I just had to have it.<\/p>\n
As I type this out, I am not sitting on my bed in my flat in London. I am actually standing in a field in county Meath in Ireland. The date is August 25th 2001 and its about this time. U2 are not pumping out Where the Streets have No Name<\/i> live from Boston form my aforementioned laptop speakers. They are playing on stage in front of me and fuck me was it awesome. Hearing a track of theirs live every now and again brings me back to that day and I just sit there lost in the memory.
