Oh come on, that was always<\/b> going to be the title. Guns N’ Roses tonight in the London Arena were fucking awesome. Not much to say about the support Weezer, they just were not a good band to have support Guns N’ Roses and they knew it. They even commented about feeling out of place. They did a good version of their one big hit Buddy Holly<\/i> and the biggest cheer they for was for the line “Welcome to the Jungle”.<\/p>\n
There was close on an hour wait after they ended but man was it worth it. The show kicked off with Welcome to the Jungle<\/i> and they just kept going. We got four songs straight off the bat ending with Live and Let Die<\/i> it just rocked. Then we got You Could be Mine<\/i>, Sweet Child O’ Mine<\/i> and Knockin’ On Heavens Door<\/i> and you really just can’t ask for anything more than that. It was in a word awesome<\/b>.<\/p>\n
Then we got a couple of new songs which I liked the sound of a lot and then a piano was wheeled out for Axel. There was a couple of minutes fooling around on it and then to roars of approval we got November Rain<\/i>. The entire night was pretty much greatest hits with a couple of new songs and a great version of Paradise City<\/i> for the encore.<\/p>\n
All in all a great gig and a really great night. Next time they play London I will be there and I will be picking up the new album.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
