Oh yeah. I saw somewhere recently that the UK had its first terrestrial tv ad for condoms shown during Big Brother last week. It reminded me of something from 7 or 8 years ago. I was sitting the lounge watching tv. My mom was helping my sister with her homework. I think it was MTV I was watching and it was pretty early in the evening, before six for sure. There was a Durex ad on and my mother asked me what I was watching that showed ads like that at that time of the day. I find it quite funny actually looking back. I would have thought that ads about condoms should be shown at times like that specifically. In this day and age shouldn’t kids be aware of them from an early age… and fuck me I feel old.
