I lodged \u00a3300 to my credit card a couple of weeks ago. I have my bank set up to do so automatically as soon as I get paid. This means I don’t have to remember to make the payment in the middle of the month 3 weeks after I get paid. So all is well and good there. Except it turns out that my new credit card won’t accept this as part of my monthly payment and that I still in fact have to make the monthly payment which I cheerfully ignored as I do with my other card seen as I have made a payment. But NO, of course not. I’ve just been charged \u00a330 for not making the payment yesterday despite already paying well more than the minimum I had to pay.
