So I had a lot more to drink than I planned. Sometimes I hate my life, I’m going away in the morning, have to leave here at 7am. I now get to look forward to getting up at six, attempting to find and pack everything I need and its looking pretty likely I will be hungover. How fun! I am going to go drink some water in the hope of knocking some of it off but who knows.<\/p>\n
Today could have been better, all work stuff and things I don’t really think I want to talk about here for various reasons, but actually had a really good conversation in the pub afterwards which isn’t the type of conversation grunts like me get to have with senior management and I think that was good. It was at the least fun.<\/p>\n

Speaking of, I am quite annoyed by the new company awards. A team was given the award for a result achived as a direct result of a team effort between one of our sys dev guys and myself and there was no acknowledgement of that at all.
