I don&#8217;t want to read, I don&#8217;t want to watch tv and there is no-one on that I really want to have a conversation with. Not even in the mood for any of the MP3&#8217;s on the &#8216;puter. So realising that the masterpiece that is &#8220;OK Computer&#8221; is within reach I am now feeling a little better \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Other comics I picked up today are Greg Rucka&#8217;s &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bakedtomato.com\/oni\/books\/tpb.php?id=25\" title=\"\" onmouseover=\"JavaScript: self.status=''; return true;\" onmouseout=\"JavaScript: self.status=''; return false;\">Whiteout<\/a>&#8220;. I liked his work on the various Batman titles and other recent stuff and this is I believe his first comic work so I&#8217;m looking forward to reading it. Also I picked up Art Spiegelman&#8217;s &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmajh.org\/exhibitions\/maus\/index.html\" title=\"\" onmouseover=\"JavaScript: self.status=''; return true;\" onmouseout=\"JavaScript: self.status=''; return false;\">Maus<\/a>&#8220;. Alongside &#8220;Watchmen&#8221; and &#8220;The Dark Knight Returns&#8221; this is one of the most acclaimed comics of the 80&#8217;s and indeed of all time. Mark Waid went as far once as to state they are the only comics you need to read.<br \/>\nThe author interviewed his father, a Holocaust survivor and turned that interview into a comic. In 1992 a special Pulitzer catagory was created to honour Spiegelman and &#8220;Maus&#8221;. I doubt I will get into this tonight, but when I do you can be sure there will be a post or two in it.<\/p>\n<p>oh and for the record the term &#8220;list-mom&#8221; is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So it&#8217;s late and I&#8217;m bored.
